Code of conduct

principleVersion 0.1.0Approved · not yet published

This code applies in every space the Next Earth Order runs: this website, our Instagram account, our newsletter, and any forum or event we host.

What we welcome

  • Criticism, including sharp criticism of the Order, its texts and its stewards. Doubt is welcome here. Our critics are not our enemies.
  • Disagreement about what should be done, and how fast.
  • Clearly labeled parody.

What we do not allow

  • Threats of violence, or calls for it.
  • Harassment: targeting a person with repeated unwanted contact, insults or abuse.
  • Publishing someone’s private information without their consent.
  • Spam and scams.
  • Content that is unlawful where it is posted.
  • Impersonating the Order, a steward, or anyone else.

Each of these is defined, with examples, in the moderation policy.

If something goes wrong

Tell us through the contact on Privacy. You will not be punished for reporting, and anyone accused is heard before any finding (Rules of the Order, Rule 11).
